Brenton and Clare got married at Yamba’s stunning Green Point. With views of Angourie headland in the distance, it was a perfect blue sky day with no wind. As a young family, it was beautiful to see them tie the know in front of their closest friends in such a stunning location. Meg incorporated a sand ceremony as part of their wedding, with sand from beaches that were significant to them, in Sydney and the Sunshine Coast.
After the ceremony, the guests headed back to town to get ready and freshen up for the afternoon, while we explored Angourie and Wooloweyah to shoot some photos of the two of them. Often in situations like this, I suggest to couples to just jump in with me and I’ll drive us around. It saves having to have someone else as a designated driver and also makes it easier for us to explore and find good locations to shoot.
The afternoon was a relaxed garden party at Yum Yums with Dan Clark Band bringing chilled vibes while everyone hung out and enjoyed some cocktails and food.
Funny story… on getting home to Ballina at the end of the day, I got a phone call from Brenton and Clare who had left their room key in the back of my car. While they enjoyed a quiet diner, I jumped back in the car and headed down the highway to return their keys.
