Due to the Covid restrictions, Maddie and Jacob decided that for them it was the wedding that was important and the party could wait, so they opted for a true Yamba Elopement. It was just the two of them, two witnesses, their Celebrant, Meg and Myself. When we arrived at the stunning lcoation they had choosen for their ceremony, Green Point, Angourie. We meet a couple who were celebrating their anniversary who were married at exactly the same spot some twenty years earlier. Following the ceremony, we spent some time on the rocks below the headland before catching the sunset on the edge of the national park at Wooloweyah. After the photos, Maddie and Jake were joined by a group of friends and celebrated with diner and drinks at their favourite Yamba restaurant. I can’t wait to photograph their party were they get to celebrate properly with their extended families in 2021.
