Josh and Kim – Evans Head Wedding Photography
Kim and Josh found a perfect little clearing in the Evans Head Woodlands for their ceremony. Its was full of love and laughter despite the ominous clouds, looming. Midway through the ceremony, the bridal party switched sides as Kim wasn’t happy about appearing taller given the slope. As the ceremony finished and we heard the first cracks of thunder, Kim cheered. Many other brides would have been disappointment as a large storm rolled in, but refreshingly Kim fully embraced it. The old saying of life’s not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain, couldn’t have rung any truer. The dark skies made for a great backdrop as we cruised around Evans shooting images of Kim and Josh before heading to their reception at the local surf club where rainbows filled the skies.
I was only with Kim and Josh for a short time on their day but it felt like we packed so much in and looking through the images we came away we a really large edit given the limited time.
Here’s their woodland wedding in pictures.
