Abbey and Max were one of the first couples to have their wedding at the newly refurbished Summerland House Farm, Alstonville. I’d had the chance to get to know them when we did a family photography shoot with their young son, Henry a few months before the wedding. Much like an engagement shoot this helped to put everyone at ease and help Abbey and Max feel more relaxed in-front of the camera. Following their beautiful ceremony by Victoria (Love for Live Ceremonies) everyone enjoyed a high tea on the deck surrounded by the tropical gardens. Once the guests left it was just myself, Abbey and Max giving us plenty of time to shoot their bridal portraits among the Macadamia trees. Summerland House Farm offers so much variety and is such a unique location to shoot. It is rapidly becoming one of my favourite venues in the area.
