Scott and Kirsty – Grafton Wedding Photographer
Scott and Kirsty, returned from Brisbane to Kirsty’s home town of Grafton to get married surrounded by family and friends. It was a laid back wedding with the focus on enjoying time with their guests. It all took place at The T J Ford Pavillion, Grafton Showground. The old barn, was a perfect setting with lots of room for both the ceremony and the reception. We took Scott and kirsty off to do a few more intimate portraits of the two of them at spots Kirsty had chosed around Grafton. They provided the perfect backdrop and we finished over looking the Clarence river as the sky came alive for a fantstic sunset.
I was joined once again by Josh from Josh Barwick Studios as a second shooter and having another pair of hands we took the opportunity to shoot a short wedding video. Using a vintage old super 8 camera we put a few rolls of film through it to give us enough footage for a short highlights film. It was a bit of an experiment but the feel the super 8 film gives really adds to the piece. You can watch the video below to see the extended video edit please visit my vimeo page.
