As a Byron Bay wedding photographer, I love when I get to work at a new, unique venue. Tasman and Teneil got married on this beautiful private property in the Alstonville Hinterland, that was owned by a family friend. Backing on to a small winding creek it provided the perfect backdrop for their nuptials.
With the potential for Covid to restrict the number of guests able to attend their Tintenbar Hall, reception, Tasman and Teneil wanted to be able to spend some time hanging out and enjoying the company of the friends and family after the ceremony. In the end, the restrictions had lifted and it meant they could share the night with everybody. However, they kept to their plan and everyone got to enjoy spending some time post-ceremony on this beautiful property.
Between the ceremony and reception, I followed the Bridal party and stopped off at an incredible Fig Tree close to where Tasman lived. It was a place that was special to them as a couple and seemed fitting to use as a location for their bridal party photos. We had loads of fun, with the wedding party even climbing up into the tree.
Tintenbar Hall is a great versatile venue and provides a blank space for you to create your wedding reception. With some great locations close by, it also meant that as the sun was going down, the three of us could jump in the car and head off to capture a few portraits in the last light of the day.
